Hello chicken fanatics!

I wanted to announce that I’ve started couple days ago a project named Chickenly Mess! Game is going to be about managing your own little farm in your backyard! You’ll can hatch eggs from chickens, ducks and even turkeys! Game is inspired on Peckin’ Pixels and Stardew Valley, go check them out, they’re great!

What I have right now isn’t even a playable demo, but more like early build. You can’t do much right now in the game besides spawning corns, eggs and chickens from console. I’m trying to fix an issue with chickens being picky ones when other chicken or other food is standing infront of something that they’re eating. I’m also trying to make this game look more fancy, but not too fancy. Let’s keep the artstyle pretty simple. Laying an egg system is almost finished.

Future of Chickenly Mess

In future I’m going to implement lots of various features, like:

◦ Cool interactive shopping;

◦ Relationship with npcs;

◦ Customizing and designing your farm;

◦ Hats, hats and lots of hats for your chickens, roosters, ducks etc.;

◦ Adding your own made hats into the game;

◦ Customizing your player model;

◦ Fishing;

◦ And more!

I don’t think it’s going to be an easy way to complete this game, but I think it’s possible for me to finish it!
